Maybe you’re feeling a little frustrated…

You are working hard and serving well. God has placed gifts inside of you, but it seems like the projects have fallen to the ground. You quietly think to yourself, All I need is one good break; for one person of great stature to mention my name and amplify the work I am doing.

So, you bravely put the project in the hands of the one you think can help push it from the shadows into the light, but instead they put it aside, leaving you to watch others bloom and blossom as they are promoted, supported and sought after.

This is where doubt sets in.

You begin to question the gift of God on your life. You begin to doubt whether you have what it takes. You begin to question your abilities, your value, your worth. Before you realize it, a little bitterness has set in. You pick apart what others are doing and you harbor anger against the one who let you down…

But listen, let go of that! Have you ever considered that it’s not that the individual ignored you or your talent? Now see, I can hear you already! They should know. They should see. I am faithful. I serve. They just don’t like me. They have it out for me. They are blocking my gift. They don’t think I’m good enough.

My friend, you are giving them too much power!

You are wasting precious energy that could be re-focused and rechanneled into perfecting that which God has given you. Even if some of what you are thinking is true, have you forgotten that God is greater than anyone or any force against you? Do you really think God would plant a seed deep inside your heart and not allow it to take root and grow?

May I encourage you? The scripture says, ‘The vision is for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry. You are not being ignored. You are not being looked over. No one is blocking you.

Settle down. Re-group. Re-focus.

God’s Divine Plan is still on schedule. He’s merely proving to you that it will be Him, not them, who brings light to the gift He gave you!
